Inbound I-55, I-355 reopen in west suburbs after truck crash: ISP
There was a Woodridge crash Thursday. Inbound I-55 and I-355 have reopened after a semi truck rollover at Woodward Avenue, Illinois State Police say.

WOODRIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- A semi rollover crash caused a traffic headache in the west and south suburbs Thursday.

A truck rolled over just before 9:15 a.m. on northbound, or inbound, Interstate 55 near milepost 270, northeast of Interstate 355 in Woodridge, Illinois State Police said.

Police said the truck was the only vehicle involved.

All I-55 northbound lanes were closed at Woodward Avenue for hours, police said. I-355 northbound lanes to northbound I-55 were also closed.

They have since reopened.

No injuries have been reported, police said.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash.

There was an extensive traffic backup.
